Planning for and Managing Volunteers
Are you struggling to determine how and where you can engage volunteers in meaningful service to your organization? Can’t find the time to delegate a task or manage a well-intentioned helper?
When a volunteer feels like they fit an organization they are more likely to stick around. And if they feel they are making an important contribution, they are more likely to value their experience. Crafting a mutually beneficial role for volunteers takes time and forethought.
Join Pheobe Brown for an overview of tried and tested practices in volunteer management focusing on planning and managing your helpers! Participants will learn how to find the best fit for a volunteer in their organization and how to prepare their organization for volunteers through a needs assessment.
Volunteer managers as well as other staff and board members who rely on volunteers will find this workshop valuable.
