Preservation Piedmont is pleased to announce the revival of its grant program, which will provide modest grants to support projects that promote the protection of historic resources including significant cultural landscapes. Categories of support include: documentation initiatives including surveys; basic stabilization of all types of historic fabric, including landscapes, public art and engineered structures as well as buildings; support for preservation-related publications and other media; and preservation education and interpretation initiatives. Applications will be accepted twice a year, with deadlines of May 1 and Oct. 1, with grants awarded approximately 8 to 10 weeks after each deadline.
