The National Endowment for the Arts believes that integrating the arts with public projects like transportation, housing, education, and infrastructure creates vibrant, unique communities and enhances the lives of their residents. The NEA seeks applicants for its Our Town grant program, which will fund local “creative placemaking” projects that support lively communities by incorporating arts and culture into community revitalization efforts. Up to $200,000 is available for cultural improvement projects which demonstrate partnership between nonprofit organizations and local governments.
