The American Medical Association Foundation is awarding grants of up to $60,000 to community-based organizations with programs focused on the prevention and reduction of type 2 diabetes and hypertension. Eligible organizations must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS, have been in operation for three or more years, and have an operating budget of 3 million or less.
