Mission Statement
The Blue Ridge Abortion Fund provides community members with financial support, transportation, and lodging assistance for abortions. Through education and community outreach, we reduce stigma and increase awareness. We believe funding abortion is an act of radical care and that all community members should have the agency and the resources to make their own decisions about their bodies and lives.

Funding abortion is an act of radical care that affirms our belief that all community members should have the agency and the resources to make their own decisions about their bodies. We envision a world where everyone has access to safe, legal, affordable, compassionate abortion care.

It's also time-sensitive, which means people don't have time to "save for it." Blue Ridge Abortion Fund reduces financial barriers to abortion care by giving grants to people to offset the cost of the care: cost of abortion, transportation, lodging, child care, and meals as necessary.
