Side by Side Studio is dedicated to joyful learning and advocacy through art. Our primary mission is to design and teach curriculum for local early childhood centers, community centers and youth programs in underserved areas of our city. It is our goal to make art and joyful learning available to all children and families. We specialize in programs developed from process art, child-led and project based learning philosophies. We believe arts education is crucial for the well-being of children and of society.
Our programs are heavily built upon the importance of community engagement and relationship. Side by Side commits to giving back to the community and encouraging others to do the same. This encouragement of and building understanding across communities is essential to all of Side by Side’s programs.
