Amel Gorani is Deputy Director of Strategy, Equity, and Impact. Amel is responsible for helping to lead the implementation of CNE’s strategy, building the organization’s capacity to track and improve outcomes, and advocating for an equitable and inclusive social impact sector. Amel is a social justice, peace and conflict, and inclusion specialist. She has over 20 years of experience working for donor agencies, private foundations, and nonprofits in the U.S and around the world.

Amel holds a BA from Stockholm University and an MA from Uppsala University, both in Political Science. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and Swedish.
