The Local Initiatives Support Corporation is accepting grant proposals for the NFL Foundation Grassroots Program, which aims to fund clean, safe, and accessible football fields in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. The program offers two levels of support:
- General Field Support grants of up to $50,000 for capital projects such as the installment/refurbishment of bleachers, concession stands, lights, irrigation systems, etc.
- Field Surface Grants of up to $250,000 to help finance the resurfacing of a community football field
