In order to effectively assess performance, nonprofits need to be able to measure the impact their programs have on the clients they serve. But for many of us, it is challenging to make sure we have the right tools and process in place to collect that data that we need. What many of us need are practical, real-world knowledge and tools that can be adapted and used right away!

Join CNE and community evaluation expert, Maryfrances Porter, to learn practical, real-world knowledge and tools that can be adapted and used at your own organizations. Participants will gain valuable insight into:

• Question formatting, including wording do’s and don’ts, using multiple choice, scales and other response options,
• Gather qualitative questions through open-ended survey questions, interviews, and focus groups, and
• How to overcome barriers in data collection including survey fatigue from participants, limited staff buy-in and time, and/or uncertainty over how to analyze data once you have it.

Executive directors, program directors, as well as program managers are encouraged to attend.
