Put the Fun Back in Annual Fund

May 20, 2016

You’ve planned meals for the week, meetings for the month, and vacations for the summer, but have you planned your annual fund campaign? Are you concerned about setting realistic goals? Perhaps you are new to the annual fund or you simply need a new perspective?

If you are curious about the attributes of a successful annual fund strategy, CNE is here to help. Learn to create and implement a strong plan, specific to your organization, with Laurie Jarrett Rogers in our Annual Fund Series.

Selected participants will attend sessions once per week for five weeks. You’ll walk away with a solid plan for implementation, based off of an analysis of previous years’ efforts and incorporating goals for the future that will lead to even greater success.

Topics include:

  • The Annual Fund as a Building Block
  • Analyzing Last Year’s Efforts
  • Planning for Next Year
  • Designing Your Stewardship Plan- Thanking Your Donors
  • Presenting Your Plan

Almost every nonprofit has an annual gift fund — and these funds are the building blocks for major and planned giving success. Annual giving is the name given to solicitation efforts that are designed to achieve five aims: to promote introductory giving, to reach large groups of individuals, to promote loyal giving, to be efficient and cost effective, and to minimize the intrusion into a donor’s life.
