We’re excited to share the details of the next session in our 7 Actionable Principles for a Strong Social Sector virtual learning series:

What better way to start the new year than to think about new ways of doing things? Join CNE and your social sector peers for “Reimagining Philanthropy” with Lucy Bernholz of Stanford University’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (PACS). Lucy Bernholz will engage us in broadening our perspectives of giving, understanding the implications of systems and technologies, and opening our minds to new ways of participating in the social sector. Lucy will draw themes and practical tips from her most recent book, How We Give Now: A Philanthropic Guide for the Rest of Us. She will share stories of and provide guidance for people navigating the “givingscape.” The program will include Q&A from local leaders who are reimagining giving in relation to their organizations and from you, the audience.

CNE’s 7AP Learning Series brings experts from around the nation to help us all better understand how the 7 Actionable Principles for a Strong Social Sector can inform sector learning and growth on the path to equitable, just, and thriving communities. Virginia nonprofits, funders, and community partners are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
