100 Black Women of the Charlottesville Metropolitan Area — Advocating on behalf of Black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.

Blue Ridge Abortion Fund — Provides community members with financial support, transportation, and lodging assistance for abortions; reduces stigma and increases awareness through education and community outreach.

Charlottesville NOW (National Organization for Women) — Charlottesville NOW is the local area chapter of the National Organization for Women—the largest grassroots feminist network in the United States, a multi-issue, multi-strategy organization focused on securing social, political and economic equality for all women and girls.

Georgia’s Friends, Inc. — Provides programs and services in the Charlottesville-Albemarle community to help women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring mental health challenges.

Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council — Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Girls on the Run of Central Virginia — Inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Giving Words — Giving mothers and their children words of hope and hands that help.

HER SPORTS — To provide a unique holistic experience to young girls by empowering, engaging, and educating positive youth development through sports.

Junior League of Charlottesville Inc. — An organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area — A nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center at UVA — To serve students and the University as a whole by fostering the respect, safety, and dignity of women and girls; developing leadership and compassion through academic community engagement; building powerful partnerships for social change; working for gender justice on Grounds and across the globe, and celebrating those who join us.

National Coalition of Girls’ Schools — The leading advocate for girls’ schools, connecting and collaborating globally with individuals, schools, and organizations dedicated to educating and empowering girls.

Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA) — To eliminate sexual violence and its impact by providing education, advocacy, and support to men, women, and children.

The Helen Project International IncTo financially assist African Grandmothers living in Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa who are raising orphan children infected and affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

The Shelter for Help in Emergency — Works to support and empower victims of domestic violence through a combination of residential, community-based and outreach services.

The Women’s Initiative (TWI)To provide women with effective counseling, social support and education so they can transform life challenges into positive change and growth.
