We are excited to invite you to the 2018 Philanthropy Day Luncheon, a community celebration of giving. This year’s luncheon will be held at the Pavilion at Boar’s Head Inn on November 15 from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
This year, Vu Le (“voo lay”) will speak about the Power of Community. Vu is the executive director of Seattle-based nonprofit Rainier Valley Corps, whose mission is tackling systemic injustice by developing leaders of color, strengthening organizations led by communities of color, and fostering collaborations among diverse communities. Vu is a nationally-recognized leader in the sector, well-known for his popular, insightful, and funny blog, nonprofitaf.com.
Vu believes that building community is one of the most important things the nonprofit sector does. His talk will explore how we can work together to support strong communities — and also find and build community among nonprofits and between funders and nonprofits.
