We’ve been enjoying the days growing longer and the evenings growing brighter. Summer solstice, the official first day of summer, is approaching on Wednesday, June 21. “Solstice” comes from the Latin solsitium, or “sun stands still.” It’s the longest day of the year, when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky. It’s also the turning point after which the sun starts rising later and setting earlier.
With the long days of summer stretching out before you—and things slowing down a little—it’s a great time to invest in yourself and your professional development. The sun may seem to stand still, but we won’t! We’ll be working all summer long to help you along the way, and we’ll have lots of chances for you to jump in and get involved.
