Great Leaders Take Time for Self Care

June 16, 2016

We’ve talked to you about mindfulness in the workplace and how it can improve organizational health. But when you are in a leadership role, self-care often comes last.

Science proves it! You will be more productive, less stressed, better at communication, and more satisfied if you incorporate some “me-time” into your day.

Mindfulness enables leaders to be fully present, aware of themselves and their impact on other people, and sensitive to their reactions to stressful situations. Leaders who are mindful tend to be more effective in understanding and relating to others, and motivating them toward shared goals.
